Together, Walmart and the Walmart Foundation generally provide more than $1 billion in cash and in-kind to support programs that align with our philanthropic priorities. We focus on areas where we can do the most good - combining the unique strengths of the business alongside our philanthropy. Our ability to draw on Walmart business strengths, providing more than just funding, helps our philanthropy to deliver greater societal impact. Today, Walmart.org, through the combined philanthropic efforts of both Walmart and the Walmart Foundation, creates opportunities for people to live better every day.

We seek to create value in the communities around the world where we operate, strengthening them through local grants supporting programs that help them thrive. Walmart’s more than 2 million associates are residents, neighbors, friends and family in thousands of communities around the globe. Walmart works to strengthen these communities through both our retail business and community giving, encouraging volunteerism, and through programs to strengthen community cohesion.

Silicon Valley Community Foundation advances innovative philanthropic solutions to challenging problems.

We partner with families, individuals and corporations to manage and facilitate their philanthropy. We connect donors’ interests to the most pressing needs, whether in Silicon Valley or around the globe. SVCF shapes critical public policy issues, partners with nonprofit groups and institutions advancing the best ideas and directs resources swiftly and strategically toward unforeseen needs.

SVCF formed in 2007, and we are proud that since then we have awarded more than $6 billion in grants locally, nationally and globally. Of those grants, more than $3 billion has gone to support charities in the nine-county Bay Area in California.

We’ve developed a fund to help families impacted by COVID-19 – School closures, job disruptions, and the health threat’s disproportionate impact on the elderly and low-income families are only a few aspects of this evolving crisis. Food banks are seeing a decrease in retail donations, unique product distribution challenges, declining volunteer groups, and an increased product demand for vulnerable populations.

Your generous support will enable us to help keep food accessible to local families impacted by recent crisis: Help school children who are not in school and not receiving lunch and breakfasts they depend on, help families who work an hourly wage and are seeing their hours go down as people are not going out, and help seniors who are unable to leave their homes.

All funds raised will be distributed locally to:

* Food Banks to purchase food and gift cards for people in need

* School Districts (where appropriate) to deliver meals to kids who rely on them when school is not in session

* Organizations working to get food to seniors

Smart & Final, the smaller, faster grocery warehouse store, is one of the longest continuously operating food retailers in the United States and operates under two banners: Smart & Final and Smart & Final Extra!. Headquartered in Los Angeles, where our history dates back to 1871, Smart & Final operates more than 250 grocery and foodservice stores in California, Arizona and Nevada with additional stores in Northern Mexico operated through a joint venture.

Across all of Smart & Final, we’re passionate about providing for those who provide for others. And we’re dedicated to the communities we serve. With the help of our customers and associates, Smart & Final and the Smart & Final Charitable Foundation donate more than $1 million and 1,000 volunteer hours each year – providing support and improving the lives of millions in the areas of health & wellness, hunger relief and emergency response, K-12 education, and youth sports. If you are a nonprofit organization and would like to apply for a donation, please

We believe it’s important to support the communities where Robert Half employees live and work. Most of our company-sponsored philanthropic programs are focused on education and workforce development, which make them a great fit for us, given the nature of our work.

We’re proud to have built long-standing relationships with many community partners, including the following:

* Boys & Girls Clubs of America

* Dress for Success

* Enactus

* Junior Achievement

Every year, Robert Half donates to both the American Red Cross and Canadian Red Cross for disaster relief to help those who need it most.
